Faithfully, your brother…

You’ve taught me what it really means,
To be a brother to someone.
You’ve taught me what it really mean,
To love someone.
You’ve taught me what it means,
To understand someone.
You’ve taught me what it means,
To stand beside someone.
You’ve taught me what it means
To hold someone.
You’ve taught me what it means,
To get mad at someone.
You’ve taught me what it means,
To really care for someone.
Through pain and happiness,
You’ve stuck by my side.
This I will never forget,
Even when I die.
You’ve not just been a sister,
But a friend and lover.
Through all that was bad,
You’ve held on stronger.
To the one who has loved me and hated me.
To the one who has slapped me and punched me.
To the one who has made me and taught me.
I am forever your faithful brother.
Forgive me

With the ding of the morning bells,
I wake from my deep slumber,
Today is a day like any other day,
A count added in a year of numbers.
But alas the news arrives,
Bringing with it a cloud of darkness,
“The princess is lost” says the news bearer,
“Lost to an evil of blackness.”
As I lay stunned with the words that came,
I could not think of anything but your name.
Your name was all that circled my mind,
For I realized I had been left behind.
I am alone now,
And I am left to fend,
Myself from the whole world,
With much left to mend.
As I stare into the creamy wall,
I remember memories of us
And begin to fall.
Hopelessly hopeing
I place a call,
Despite knowing you won’t respond at all.
As tears well up in my eyes,
I know it’s time for good byes.
This is an early farewell,
Where I go now only time will tell.
As I’m dressed in black,
To bid you good bye,
I look down on you,
And begin to cry.
Tears that stream down my face,
Drips onto the earth below,
As workers work their spades,
To cover you as people go.
As I stand there looking at the stone,
My tears have drenched me to the very last bone.
Steps from behind I faintly hear,
Its the inspector who slowly draws near.
“We’ve found the sinner of this crime,
Nothing on him- cent or dime.
What do you wish to do?
I can’t help him and neither can you.”
“Forgive the fool,
And let him free.
For if she were here,
That’s how he would be.”
With these words,
I walk away.
Nevertheless,
I have nothing to say.
I am yours; always my dear,
And for now I have nothing to fear.
I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain,
For nothing can overide this heart renching pain.
However with time,
I may heal.
Those emotions that I had
I may once again feel.
However I know,
That I shall not love again.
For the desire to do so
Is now buried with your name.
I know you will be waiting for me to come,
And until that time I shall be numb.
I know that this time shall not be in vain
For when we meet I shall feel love again.
When the walls around you fall
